Mumbai: International cricket umpire Anil Chaudhary has stepped into the world of acting with the release of the Haryanvi gangster-themed anthem Goli To Chalegi. Known for his precise decisions on the cricket field, Chaudhary is now drawing attention for his confident screen presence in the high-energy music video.
The song has been directed by filmmaker and fashion designer Suman Guha and produced by Naresh Jha under the banner of Epic Films. With powerful vocals by Diamond and a cinematic visual style, the video blends music with action-driven storytelling, giving it the feel of a short action film.
The video also features actors Rohit Kharb, Chandni Raut and Hemesh Dixit, who add depth to the storyline with their performances. However, much of the attention has been focused on Chaudhary’s surprising and confident acting debut.
Speaking about his first on-screen experience, Chaudhary said he did not feel nervous in front of the camera as he often does commentary in Haryanvi. He credited director Suman Guha and producer Naresh Jha for giving him the opportunity and said the shoot was an enjoyable experience.
The launch event in Mumbai was attended by several personalities from the film and television industry, including actors Rajniesh Duggal and Gurmeet Choudhary, who praised the creative concept and presentation of the song.
